Art Invested is a group of individuals that are highly interested in obtaining 19th and 20th century American and European artworks. Our group consists of a handful of members that have many years of experience in their field of study and are often enthusiastic buyers. We also have a passion for researching the history behind each work of art. We have designed this site in order to reach out to prospective sellers and bring their artwork to a focal point within our network of buyers.
Although we have decades of knowledge and experience in the art world, our site is only about one year old (Start Date: November 2008) and we’ve been in contact with about 200 people to date. Each contact is appreciated even if it does not lead us to a treasure or a great lesson in history, we enjoy speaking with people about their items and also enjoy sharing our knowledge with them. If you own a piece of art and would like to know more about it, don’t wait for The Antiques Road Show to come to town… just send us a few photos and a brief description and we’ll be glad to give you an accurate evaluation of your item. If you don’t have the means to send photos, just call or email and describe the item in detail.
If you offer us a painting or sculpture, there is a good chance that you will receive a response within 48 hours to discuss details such as provenance and pricing. We are very enthusiatic about buying art so please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to speaking with you.
